As Proje Evi Kooperatifi, we have facilitated the elaboration of the "Policy Dialogue for Post 2020 Seascapes in Turkey" on behalf of MAVA Foundation and GEF Small Grants Program (SGP Turkey). The resulting Policy Paper (both in Turkish and English) highlighted the main identified actions for Marine Protected Areas and small-scale fisheries leading to CBD COP15.
Furthermore, a short film and teasers of the work carried out were produced. As an additional output of this study, FAO's Global Action Plan for the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA 2022) was translated and introduced by Proje Evi Kooperatifi with the initiative of the Underwater Research Association (Su Altı Araştırmaları Derneği - SAD). At the end of the project, a lobbying event was held with the participation of relevant public institution officials, funding agencies such as AFD and maritime law experts.
