In 2016, Proje Evi Kooperatifi has enabled the process to develop GEF-SGP Turkey’s Operational Programme 6th Country Strategy (OP6). This has included the organization of central and local meetings with the relevant stakeholders in order to determine SGP Turkey’s priority intervention areas during the OP6 funding phase. As a result of these consultations, “Kaz Mountains and Edremit Bay” and “Beyşehir Lake and Dedegöl Mountains” were chosen as the focus of SGP intervention zones along with the thematic conservation priorities to be supported.
