Since 2012, together with 74 environmental and nature conservation organizations, our cooperative has been supporting advocacy, lobbying and monitoring activities under the “Nature Law Monitoring Initiative.”
The Draft Law on Conservation of Nature and Biological Diversity, which was submitted to the Environment Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on October 26, 2010, was accepted at the Commission meeting held on March 16, 2011.
Proje Evi Cooperative considers this bill, which is still on the agenda but remains a bill for various reasons, as one of the biggest threats to the environmental and nature conservation efforts in the country.
